We’d like to say our origins can be traced back to Genghis Khan, but that’s only partly true. For those of you old enough to remember, we started out with a create-your-own-stir-fry concept called Mongolian Barbeque. Lots of fun but it was difficult to get the 8-foot iron grill set up in a shopping centre or motorway service station, let alone all the horses, swords, and associated weaponry you need these days. So we looked for something simpler that allowed us to pursue our love of healthy tasty Asian food that used fresh ingredients. The result was Chozen Noodle.
The aim is to provide customers with a range of dishes that reflect the diversity of Asia. So we took some of our favourites from Thailand and matched them with recipes from Japan, Malaysia and China.
We wanted to make everything ourselves, so we directly source all the vegetables, herbs and spices used to make the sauces that go with the dishes. The menu is deliberately limited to 8-10 dishes at any one time. This enables us to execute on freshness and quality.
On the people front we reflect the international flavour of our food with a great team collected from around the world. We want to grow our business in a similar way and so operate our own locations but encourage people who reflect our values and goals to become Chozen Franchisees.
World domination is not part of the plan as we think that messes with the pleasure/purpose dynamic but we have got as far as Falkirk. Any feedback good, bad or ugly always gets a reply, some printable some not – firstname.lastname@example.org.

Question:Are Chozen Noodle members of the British Franchise Association?
Answer: We are not currently members of the BFA but all our documentation and Legal agreements were drawn up based on the BFA’s Ethical Code of Practice by our Lawyers.
Question:What qualifications do I need to become a successful Chozen Franchisee?
Answer: You need to have a strong desire and drive to build your own business. Self-motivation is more important than what your skills are, however hospitality skills and a good service mentality are a definite bonus. You must be willing to devote your full time and attention to the day-to-day operations and expansion of the business.
Question: What are my chances of success?
Answer: The numbers speak for themselves. Entering into business as a franchisee dramatically improves your chances of success. Bank mangers prefer lending to Franchisees for the simple reason that in new business start-ups the failure rate within the first two years for non-franchised business is 70% whilst the failure rate for franchised business is less than 10%.
Question:What are the main challenges a new franchises face?
Answer: Getting the right locations is the primary challenge. It takes time and can be frustrating. We help by providing site options that come to us from our franchisee landlord and agency network across the UK however it can also be the franchisee who finds the right opportunity. We will then visit the location and approve it if we think it’s going to work.
We take a partnership approach to our franchisees so just like any successful partnership it has to work for both sides. If you believe Chozen Noodle is a good fit for your future and you want to become part of the success story please fill in the online form below so we can get back to you;
